A VOC Cannon, 1 pounder, C. Crans, 1745, Provenance Visser Collection in beautiful original condition. 

The cannon is in very good++ condition. Beautiful patina, and all marks are clearly present. This cannon was produced in 1745, for the Amsterdam department of the 'Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie', by Cyprianus Crans Janszoon. Described on Page 118, Ordnance VII, The Visser Collection, Catalog nr. HV C9.

Remington Elliot Five shot Derringer, Fine condition

This example is marked on the top of the barrel "MANUFACTURED BY E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILLION. N.Y./ELLIOTS' PATENTS. MAY 29. 1860-OCT. 1. 1861". Overall fine, 30% original blue finisch, rest smooth gray / brown patina. Fitted with fine smooth rosewood grips. Mechanically and bore are excellent. Very early and rare gentlemen pepperbox derringer in this condition.

U.S. Inspected Remington New Model Army Percussion Civil War Revolver, very fine

Brass cone front and frame notch rear sights, with "PATENTED SEPT. 14. 1858/E. REMINGTON & SONS . ILION NEW YORK.U.S.A./NEW-MODEL" on the barrel and frame single letter sub-inspection marks w,w,w and p. Brass trigger guard and smooth 2-piece grips with cartouche. Condition is very fine, with 70 % plus of the original blue finish, showing areas of mixed brown patina, bright edge wear, light spotting and handling marks. The brass shows an attractive aged mustard color patina. The grips are excellent with sharp raised feathered grain and excellent plus cartouche. Mechanically excellent. This is an outstanding as-issued example of a Remington New Model Army Revolver.

Colt Model 1862 Police Revolver with 6,5"inch barrel, fine

The Model 1862 Police Revolver was made from 1861 through c. 1873. About 28,000 were produced but, because they shared serial numbering with the 1862 Pocket Navy, specimens will be found with serial numbers through about 47000.

 

The revolver has a high polish blued barrel and fluted, five-shot, cylinder, casehardened loading lever. The brass trigger guard and backstrap have traces of the original silver. The one-piece walnut grip has a high polish "piano" finish. The top of the barrel is roll-stamped with the legend: "ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA" in a single line reading toward the breech. "COLTS/PATENT" is stamped in two-lines on the left side of the frame.  "36 CAL" is stamped on the left shoulder of the trigger guard.

 

Condition: All the serial numbers matching incl. wedge, The cylinder is numbered with the matching last four digits on the rear face.!This .36 caliber pistol having serial number 40xxx with 6.5-inch barrel remains in fine original condition, fine bore, 40% plus overall blue, 40% plus case colors. The grip is very fine, untouched with lots of original varnish. Mechanically very fine.
